The Sketchbook Project: 2011

The catephant climbs trees with ease…but doesn’t always land on his feet.

Date: January, 2011
Dimensions: 5” x 8 ¼” Moleskine Journal, 80 pages
Media: Pencil & Ink

I submitted a sketchbook to Art House Co-op’s The Sketchbook Project: 2011. My theme was “science project gone wrong”. Obviously, I had to explore the pros and cons of genetic manipulation, hence the “catephant” and “scissorbird”. I cut the paper in the last section of the book to allow the reader to experiment with combinations of their own. You can browse my complete book on Art House Co-op’s website.
